David Dylan Jessurun: Mini-site

Web users are web-builders

Mini-site

Role: Design – Flash.

For a new business unit of Signicom Research & Consultancies I was asked to design a topical mini-site. The unit was centred around the Mindworld tool which had been designed and built by Fier.nl (a very good outfit, by the way.). I incorporated their design (the little cartoon) in a design based on Signicom’s regular identity, with a few tweaks. For example: The triangle from the logo I turned into a kite to symbolise innovation and freedom. The site was done in a combination of Flash and HTML/CSS. Usually such sites are done completely in Flash, but really, with some effort, the same effect can be achieved without incurring the usability / accessibility issues introduced by plain Flash.
