Dear friend,

Well, the snow dance certainly worked. Over here the world has turned white, public transport has ground to a screeching (or slipping?) halt and it was the first time in decades that there were no people outside of the New Model Army concert trying to buy tickets… in fact, the venue was only half full. Still, I met some friendly folks from the UK who had made the trek by boat and train just to be there. When you are passionate about something, it becomes less of an effort I guess.

How passionate are you about your job? If you are passionate enough, like I am, then putting in that bit of extra effort should be fun, not a chore. I can tell the passionate from the jaded quite simply by how they respond to words like “accessibility” and “standards”. If they scowl, they’ve lost it. But you can get it back, trust me.

Just read my blog.
