A Progress bar
Providing the user feedback regarding what the interface is doing, the status, is often a requirement for accessibility and usability. If not, it is still strongly recommended by experts. A progress bar is therefore a useful feature when your interface gets to be busy sometimes and needs the user to wait. Or when the user has to iterate through a variable number of steps, such as when filling out a questionnaire. This simple tutorial demonstrates how to make a good looking progress bar with minimal HTML/CSS. The aim is to demonstrate accessible code in action but novice coders might find the thing useful for the HTML/CSS as well. http://www.defcon0.com/attractive-graphs-part-1-a-progress-bar/
